Our Services

The Pool uses the latest technology to create and maintain beautiful and healthy smiles.  We are pleased to offer our patients the following services in a friendly and comfortable environment.

Crowns & Bridges
Dr. Pool provides excellent restorative dental care.  If your teeth are damaged or decayed, crowns may be constructed to restore them back to their original form.   If you have missing teeth, a bridge may be utilized.  These restorations are cemented onto the teeth and are referred to as "fixed" dentistry as opposed to a restoration of missing teeth with a removable appliance or partial denture.

Veneers
If you teeth are chipped, broken, or discolored, porcelain veneers are a great way to change the color and shape of your teeth.  A porcelain veneer is a covering over the tooth that gives natural color and bridges small gaps.  Veneers can be a great alternative to braces for slight orthodontic problems and provide a beautiful smile in a short amount of time.

Bleaching - Teeth Whitening
Dr. Pool uses a variety of teeth whitening techniques, including Zoom, to get your teeth their whitest and brightest.  Zoom teeth whitening is the revolutionary in-office process that gets your teeth their whitest in just over an hour. Our in-home teeth whitening kits are easy to use and great results are achieved in 4 to 6 weeks.  Call our office to learn more about our teeth whitening options.

Implants
Implants are an increasingly popular alternative to dentures, crowns and bridges. They have many advantages, including their natural appearance, improved comfort and unequaled convenience. If you are considering implants, we can discuss the considerations and help you make the decision that is right for you.

Dentures & Partials
While we wish no one would ever need dentures, sometimes they are the most reasonable option.  In the past wearing dentures was the only form of dentistry available to improve a person's smile. When they are indicated we take the time necessary to create attractive, well fitting dentures. They can't beat a set of your own teeth when they are healthy and straight, but when natural teeth can't be restored dentures look great and chew well.

If a person has lost too much of their jawbone to steady their dentures, implants can be placed. The dentures are attached to the implants to hold them firmly in place. If you have this problem, call us for a consultation appointment.

Root Canal
Root canal treatment, also known as endodontic treatment, is a dental procedure in which the diseased or damaged nerve of a tooth is removed so that the tooth can be saved or restored.

Tooth Colored Fillings
Inlays and Onlays are tooth-colored restorations that are used in place of silver fillings on the chewing surfaces of back teeth.  This approach has become very popular because silver (mercury) fillings are not safe and are less attractive.

Diagnodent - Laser Cavity Detector
Diagnodent is a major breakthrough that allows Dr. Pool to detect tooth decay that x-rays cannot see.   We can now locate hidden decay in it's earliest stage, and with treatment stop the spread of the disease before it destroys the tooth from within.

Nitrous Oxide (relaxing gas)

TV available during treatment

Infection Control
Our office is OSHA compliant, and follows the same OSHA sterilization recommendations for hospitals.
